After graduating from the Gemological Institute of America, I opened Vellucci Jewelers in Cambridge, which was my first retail establishment. Throughout the years, my business expanded and in 1992 began to evolve into a successful second-hand jewelry and diamond purchasing business. In 1995, I decided to focus solely on the second-hand industry and renamed my company to Cambridge Jewelry & Watch Buyers. The company, which began in Cambridge is now conveniently located in the Jewelers Exchange Building of Boston.
Meet the Business Owner: James V. Over the past thirty years, I have remained a member of the GIA Alumni Association and was President of the New England Chapter from 1987-1990. In addition, I am also a member of IWJG and the Boston Jewelers Club. Throughout this time, as my family continues to grow, I am proud to have my wife and daughters work alongside me in the jewelry business. As a family, we pride ourselves on honesty, knowledge and customer service.
